WebA turtle is a reptile that has a shell covering its body. Turtles are known for moving very slowly. There are about 250 species, or types, of turtle. WebI also took part in snake, land crab, sea turtle, and lobster research among other things. I have a specific interest in elasmobranch research, particularly sensory biology and behaviour of elasmobranch fishes. I love working with species-at-risk as it can be so rewarding. I also love teaching and sharing science with everyone, especially children.
