WebI guess this is down to interference from something somewhere - which is why I'm not exploring the BBU option. I hear that FTTP will have to have BBU enabled as it's likely to be driving the telephone too so it needs to work in a power-outage. So I assume there is a way of getting this working - just I don't know how.
